Well, most of the year… The summers are blazing hot. The locals say you get used to it, but I’m not so sure. Lol!

This summer, my sweet tooth has been verrrry active. But the last thing I want to do is turn on my oven to bake a treat! So I started thinking about all the dessert options that don’t require the stove or oven. I asked my FB friends to help me brainstorm, and this yummy list was born!

Desserts made with the microwave

The majority of these desserts use the microwave for melting or “baking”. I know microwaves can get a bad rap, but they can cook without heating up the kitchen! Microwaves are great for easily melting chocolate and making small batch treats.

No Bake Desserts that are perfect for dorm and apartment dwellers!

Along with those of us who don’t want to turn on our ovens, this list is great for college students and apartment residents who may not have access to a full kitchen. Need a dessert to take to the boys dorms? I’ve got you covered!

Creative No Bake Desserts

Sure, everyone thinks of No Bake Cookies or microwave Rice Krispy Treats, but I wanted to go beyond the usual and think of some great options for family treats or fancy desserts for company. I think you’ll like the wide variety of my ideas!
